BIRDBench is due to be released in Q1 2024, providing:
- An extendable platform for running interoperable,pluggable, components working with the artefacts of BIRD (Datamodels, Transformations, and Test Data) on the mature Eclipse Workbench.
- BIRDBench enforces consistency between Datamodels, Transformations, and Test Data, so they never get out of sync (e.g. a warning is immediately shown if test data or a transformation refers to a datamodel element that does not exist)
- Allows Banks/Vendors/Anyone to write components seperately as open or commercial components, and have them work on a mature platform with many existing components for useful services like source control.
- Components can be written with the open source BIRD SDK. Components (like Visualisation or Navigation components) interact with the core artefacts (Datamodels, Transformations, and Test Data) as shown below.
